Working on right now...

I'm crocheting some dishtowels and washclothes.I use the sugar and cream yarn,it's cotton. Here's a pic of the colors and the ball of sugar and cream.I'm using the wheel pattern.I was going to give you the url for the pattern, but it apparantly no longer works,so,here's the wheel pattern:
The Wheel Pattern:

Round 1:Chain 9,slip stitch into the first chain to form a ring.Chain 3,Make 15 dc stitches into the ring.Slip stitch into the third chain of the original chain-3 to join the round...........................................

Round 2:Chain 6,make a triple crochet stitch into the top of the next stitch.*Chain 2,triple crochet into the next stitch.Repeat from *13 more times. Then chain 2,slip stitch into the 4th chain of the original chain-6 made at beginning of this round.(There are now 16 spaces around)............................

Round 3:Slip stitch into the next space.Chain 4,make 3 triple crochet stitches into the same space.*Make 4 triple crochet stitches into the next space.Repeat from *14 times more.Slip stitch into the 4th chain of the original chain-4 made at the beginning of the round..............................................

Round 4:Chain 3,dc into the joining space.*Chain 4,skip 3 triple crochet stitches, make 2 double crochet stitches into the next stitch.Repeat from *14 times more.Chain 4,slip stitch into the third chain of the original chain -3 made at the beginning of this round...........................................................

Round 5:Chain 3,dc into the joining space.Ch 3,make 2 dc stitches into the next stitch.*Single crochet over the ch-4 loop,2 dc into the next stitch,ch 3,2 dc into the next stitch.Repeat from *14 times more. Then sc over the last ch-4 loop.Slip stitch into the 3rd ch of the original ch-3 made at the beginning of the round.Cut yarn, leaving a 6" end.Weave the end into the back of the motif........

Joining Motifs and Creating Filler Pattern:The motifs can each be completed separately, then sewn together at the adjoining two points,as shown in the pattern at top of this page.Or,motifs can be joined together while crocheting the last round.First, complete one motif entirely. Then in working the last round on subsequent motifs, join as follows:When doing the "chain3"to form a point on the currently worked motif, chain 1,slip stitch into the ch-3 space on the second motif, then ch-1 again and continue with the 2 dc on the current motif(according to the pattern-round 5).Do the same on the next point, joining it to the matching ch-3 sp on the second motif.follow this technique and create an entire strip of motifs. Then create a second strip similarly, and use the "sewing technique"to attach the matching points of the two strips together.

Once all the desired motifs have been crocheted and joined, create the filler pattern as follows.(Note:This pattern will be done in every large space that exists at the joining of four motifs. There will be 2 points on each of the joined motifs-8 points total-that will have to be "filled in and joined"via the special filler pattern).

Chain 5,slip stitch into the first chain to form a ring.Do 8 sc stitches into the ring.*Chain 4 slip stitches into the chain-3 point of a motif, chain 4,slip stitch into the sc of the filler pattern.Repeat from * seven more times, creating a chain that connects to every one of the 8 points.

Hi again,
I may have to try these; crocheted some dishclothes for Christmas gifts this past holiday; I did just plain old single and \double crochet in a square. Mindless but lovely when completed with variegated cotton!
Big hugs
