It's about 43" across now and doing good, not puckering, yay. I do like a tighter stitching,but I love it so much, I'm considering making a big granny square the same size, same colors and fit it to the back to make a heavy blanket. The afghan is already heavier than a regular afghan, so this would make it really warm and also last longer, being the holes are bigger, which stretches out quicker. I love feeling the bobbles.
I wish I had a camera to show the colors better, they look pretty dull in this photo and they're not. Honest... :D
